Alumni, parents, and friends all gathered together with the WMGF Board, coaches, and members of the team to celebrate an amazing season on Sunday May 6th, 2018. Each team member was recognized for their achievements and contribution to the team.
Senior Nathan Tsuji and Sophomore Ben Bloom were recognized for their National Gymnast of the Week awards they earned this season. Tsuji, Bloom, junior Jacob Jarrett were all recognized for their All American achievements earned at the collegiate nationals. Tsuji earned All American in the all-around, and on parallel blars. Jarrett earned All American in the all-around and on the vault, and Bloom earned All American in the All Around.
This year, ALL of the guys on the team were able to contribute to the team score on at least one event in any competition during the season, and all received a letter award for that achievement.
Congratulations to everyone involved with helping Washington Men’s Gymnastics grow. We couldn’t have had such success without the WMGF Board, parents, friends, and all of you who have donated to the program.
