Senior and Team Captain Nathan Tsuji hit one of the best floor routines of his career at the Pac12 Invite on February 2nd. This fantastic performance put him 4th in the College Gymnastics Association’s Week 5 Top 5! Nathan scored a 14.6 (difficulty: 5.2 + execution: 9.4 out of a 10.0), and stuck ALL six of his passes! Tsuji’s routine:
Pass 1: Front layout with a double twist right to a punch front layout with a half twist.
Pass 2: Round-off back handspring double back tucked.
Pass 3: Round-off back layout with one and a half twists right to a punch front layout with a full twist.
Non tumbling moves: Split, press to a wide arm handstand, and a split, straddle press to handstand.
Pass 4: Front layout with one and a half twists.
Pass 5: Round-off back layout with a double twist.
Pass 6: Round-off back handspring back layout with two and a half twists.
