Welcome parents, relatives and friends of the many gymnasts competing here at the 2025 Washington State Boys Gymnastics Championships!
We are your competition hosts, the Washington Men’s Gymnastics Foundation. We are a non-profit 501(c)3 corporation here in Washington and our mission is to support the men’s collegiate program that formerly was supported by the University of Washington.
In 1980, the UW stopped funding the men’s program. But a group of former team members and several newcomers led by Jim Holt kept the program alive. This continuity proved very important and allowed the team to keep many of its relationships with the UW that continue on today.
Hosting competitions is a big part of our fundraising efforts and we try to host 3 competitions per year. All of the work that goes into hosting these competitions is done by a dedicated group of volunteers. 100% of the funds raised here go directly to help the team and coaches train and compete to very high levels. Many of the team members competed at this State meet and we look forward to seeing the path continue to the collegiate level for the gymnasts competing here this weekend.
