Lots of great practices and hard work goes on in summer preparing for the coming season; and 2018 was not the exception to the rule. Then this particular summer 11 huskies stayed and practiced to improve their routines along with a record number of recruits who came to practice alongside, making the last couple of months probably one of the best off-seasons in a long time.
“We will be wrapping up our summer workout on August 24th”, said senior Jacob Jarrett, ‘’and we have seen lots of progress. Now it is time to put it together to show it at the meets.”
Past Friday the huskies followed an invitation to train at Metropolitan Gymnastics by its boy’s program director, P.J. Chi. “Metropolitan has the best boy’s gymnastics level in the state of Washington at the moment and both, our guys and theirs, had a great time working out together” said Washington Men’s Gymnastics Team’s head coach Giancarlo Mora. “I would like to thanks Metropolitan Gymnastics and its coaching staff for making this training possible. We are looking forward to make it happen again”, he continued.
The team will resume practices on Wednesday, September 5th where all 6 freshmen will join the team.
