The Dawgs gave everything they had and came home with a second place team trophy and Nathan Tsuji earned All American in the All Around and on the floor. The team score definitely did not reflect the performance level compared to the rest of the season. Judging seemed to be very tight across the board.
Our top performers from the team finals were: Kody Dominguez and Nathan Tsuji on the Floor both scored a 13.8 and made event finals. Conner Petellin on the Pommels who scored a 12.95 and also made event finals. Michael Sibley scored a 12.7 on the Rings for the Dawgs. Tsuji stuck his vault and earned the high score on vault for the Huskies with a 14.00. Tsuji also lead the pack on Parallel Bars with a 12.9. Ben Bloom was able to put his high flying high bar routine together when the team needed him most and made event finals with a 13.20.
